Telecommunications Install Technician
Advanced Powering Services, Inc.
$1000.00 SIGNING BONUS AFTER COMPLETING 90 DAY PROBATION PERIOD
Full time position supporting the Communications Industry.
Advanced Powering Services has an immediate opening for a Telecommunications Install Technician. We are looking for experienced long-term employees, but will train qualified candidates. This position will require occasional travel and possible weekend work.
Essential Functions:
- Setup and configuration of telecommunications equipment
- Running CAT 6 cable or Fiber Optic cable, terminating/splicing cables
- Perform installations, maintenance, circuit testing, and repairs
- Reassemble test equipment for proper operation, document and track repairs performed
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of AC and DC power, battery handling safety a plus, will train the right
candidate - Basic use of common hand tools and ability to solder electronic components
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Background/Drug testing required
- Ability to routinely lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Education Level:
High School or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay
Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend work/travel
Peoria, AZ (Salary: $18-$22)
Pay depends on experience.
